Today was an exciting day for liberty-loving Texans. Representative Biedermann filed the Texas Independence Referendum Bill in the Texas House of Representatives. It is now officially HB 1395, or the “Texas Independence Referendum” bill. I want to thank each and every one of you for your support of the Texas Nationalist Movement as we work to secure and protect a free and independent Republic of Texas. Your support and hard work are vital to this effort and you have my gratitude and respect for your dedication to the future of Texas and Texans.
I have talked to many of you about a new phone outreach system where volunteers can call registered Texas voters across the state to identify supporters of TEXIT. That system is now up and ready to go. We are not trying to convince anyone to support TEXIT with these calls, we are simply identifying Texans who already support TEXIT and would vote for Texas independence today if it was on the ballot. Your phone number will not show up on caller ID and unless you identify yourself, the person you speak to on these calls will not be able to identify you. All that is required is a phone and a computer with internet access and you can make these calls in the comfort of your own home. The computer will make the calls and there is a script to follow on your computer screen. If you are interested in making phone calls on behalf of the Texas Nationalist Movement and the TEXIT campaign, please go to tnm.me/volunteer and register, then send me an email with “Phone Volunteer” as the subject and I will send you the registration information. If you have already registered as a volunteer, you don’t need to do it again. This is a great way to identify those Texans that support TEXIT. It is important to identify and record as many supporters as possible so that we can take those numbers to our elected representatives to encourage them to vote for HB 1395. The more documented supporters we can present to them, the more likely they are to support the bill.
Phones in Austin have been ringing non-stop. Texit supporters have been very vocal. So much so that some representatives and senators have called to let us know that they are hearing from us in huge numbers. Now is not the time to let off the gas, it is time to double our efforts. If you have already called your representative and Senator Taylor, this is a great opportunity to call again now that the bill has been formally filed. If you haven’t called yet, please do. It takes just a few minutes and you don’t have to try to convince them. Just tell them that you want to express your support for the “Texas Independence Referendum” bill, or House Bill 1395, and you are asking them to support it also. In addition to calling our own representatives and senator, we also need to call Representative Dade Phelan. As Speaker of the House, his actions could make or break this bill. He needs to hear from Texans from his district, but he also needs to understand the amount of support HB 1395 has in the rest of Texas.
Dade Phelan – (512) 463-1000, (409) 745-2777
We need to identify as many supporters as we possibly can. If you know anyone who would vote for Texas Independence if it was on the ballot today, you can get credit toward merchandise or membership fees for registering them as a supporter, and it couldn’t be easier to do. To register a new supporter and get credit toward membership fees or merchandise in the TNM Store, go to https://tnm.me/fieldconnect. Enter the supporter’s first name, last name, email address, Street address, and phone number, then submit.
I will also have some TEXIT yard signs by this weekend. I will be going to Ft Worth on Saturday for a TNM event, but I will spend Sunday afternoon meeting with some of you and passing out the signs. I plan to go to a few central locations and let you come to me at the location closest to you. I will get back to you with those locations by the end of the week.
