The Texas Nationalist Movement will be hosting a Meetup in Tyler starting at 6:00PM at Texas Music City Grill. Join us to learn more about the mission and principles of the TNM and how we can work together to make Texas a free and independent nation again. This meeting is open to TNM supporters and those wanting to learn more about the TNM. We encourage you to RSVP and bring others with you.
IMPORTANT INFO: “…I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch – The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country – Victory or Death. Lt. Col. William B. Travis February 24, 1836 Battle of the Alamo
This month’s meeting features our longtime TNM Member & the Tyler Deputy Local Coordinator, Charles Turner, who is also a beloved retired TISD teacher. Mr. Charles would like to share a teaching on Why we “Remember the Alamo” in honor of the upcoming Texas Independence Day – March 2nd. The Alamo is an epoch in history where the ultimate sacrifice, dedication to duty, and love of fellow countrymen came together in a unique way that still inspires people all around the world. It doesn’t matter if you’re a 5th generation native born Texan or a blue state refugee that’s still unpacking from your move – you need to know the heroic story of the Alamo and what “Remember the Alamo” means to a Texian! Hope to see you there!
