2021-03-11Texas Independence Referendum ActPhone conversationI contacted State Rep Cain's office and requested he support HB 1359. I plan to email him and send a letter to his office. We need to have this bill on the ballot.
2021-03-11Texas Independence Referendum ActReceived an emailSpecifically, I did not receive and e-mail or phone call. He will not respond to me about my inquiry on his position. It is clear why now. We will work to get him out of office next time around.
2021-03-09Texas Independence Referendum ActConversationBriscoe spoke directly with a member of our Advisory Board. He said that we could have voter integrity or a TEXIT vote but not both. He was choosing voter integrity.
2021-04-21Texas Independence Referendum ActPhone conversationSpoke with Christine in his office who was not able to tell me why the chair of the committee was opposed to this bill. I requested a callback with an explanation on his reasons for denying the people of his district the opportunity to vote on a non binding bill.
2022-10-14Texas Independence Referendum ActPersonal visitI met with Briscoe at his Crosby fundraiser Oct 13th 2022. After his speech I asked if he was taking questions and he said NO and walked off stage. I have that on audio. After he got off stage, I approached him to ask him my question (taken straight from Daniel's LTCT). I got video of me asking him the question. I put it on the TNM Leadership chat for Local Coordinators. He said he would take a look at the bill.
