2021-04-16	Texas Independence Referendum Act	Phone conversation	Talked to Tyler at the Capitol office and when I brought up the RWOYA roundtable that Sen Kolkhorst and Lavaca County Judge Myers voiced their support for HB 1359 he started to shut me down because they needed to go to a meeting. He said they only work through the email system. I told him that was ineffective but I would do it anyway. Left an email and stated that as the primary author of HB 1215 that I would have expected him to co-author HB 1359 especially after the RWOYA roundtable and the reaction of the audience to the support of HB 1359 including himself. I also emphasized that synergy is the key to getting either of these bills a hearing in the State Affairs Committee.
