2021-04-15	Texas Independence Referendum Act	Phone conversation	Spoke by phone with a person from Representative Genie Morrison’s office. I voiced my displeasure of her responses of non-support of HB 1359 at the District 18 Republican meeting. I requested that she reconsider her position and allow Texans to vote for the non-binding resolution of independence. I expressed my disgust of any politician that is afraid of putting ANY issue before the voters and that I would support her opponent in any future candidacy if she did not change her position.
