2022-11-29Texas Independence Referendum ActPhone conversationI spoke with Chief of Staff, Kendall Johnson. I was following up with her from our conversation on 7/27/2022. That one lasted almost an hour where I walked her through the TNM website, encouraged her to get and read the book, informed her of HB1359, the Survey USA results and the new RPT planks #33 and #225. She remembered me and that call. I asked if she shared the info with Rep Lujan and did he look at it in depth. She said Yes and added that she made a file and that there would be a meeting this week and the file would be discussed and that they are following the issue closely. I notified her that I was sending an email with an attachment of the TIRA draft that was in Legislative Council right now. In the email I also requested a personal meeting. I then asked if she saw the airplane on Election night in Austin. She said she was in San Antonio with John campaigning but that friends at the capital told her they had seen it. She then said she later saw pictures and video on social media. I told her our numbers go up every day, more local groups are being started and that we aren't going away. I said Texit is Coming and that more airplane flyovers might happen in other large cities. I compared the US to the sinking Titanic and she agreed. I said Texit is the lifeboat to save Texas and the sooner the Texas Legislature realizes it the better off we will all be. I thanked her for her time. It was another good interaction.
