We’re in uncharted territory when it comes to Texas Politics.
In this week’s episode of Texas News, we give an update on Attorney General Ken Paxton’s upcoming impeachment trial and explain the reasoning behind Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick’s issued gag order, which is ostensibly meant to ensure fair and impartial justice. Remember, many said that behind the scenes, Jeff Leach pushed for Paxton’s impeachment. We also touch on Greg Abbott’s upcoming school choice-focused special session.
These smatterings of courtroom drama, with underpinnings of legislative intrigue, ensure a legislative blood bath. And it’s gonna have an oversized effect on the future of politics.
Furthermore, we welcome this podcast’s very first guest: former Texas State Representative and longtime friend of the Texas Nationalist Movement, Kyle Biedermann!
We discuss his journey into politics, the public beginning of the filing of the TEXIT bill, and much more! This is an episode you won’t want to miss.

Kyle Biedermann is a legislative hero. He is initially famous for being the State Representative who introduced the TEXIT bill in the 87th Legislative session. What a legend! His own journey into politics is a rollercoaster, which began with an ambush interview and ended with ultimately replacing the long-time sitting Texas House chairman.
Biedermann also notes how important it is for Texans to have a vote on TEXIT by sharing a story about the power of constituents.
Many people mistakenly believe that if it were not for the federal government, Texas would just tip over and capsize. That is simply not the truth. However, many politicians won’t even consider TEXIT, which is why we need people to reach out and have their voices heard.
People are hungry for states to exercise their sovereignty, but nothing will happen unless we act first. These politicians are windsocks, and we need to be the wind.
Here are just some ways you can get involved:
First, we have our Resolution Revolution campaign, which is looking for volunteers who will work with elected leaders in all counties to pass a resolution calling for a vote on TEXIT. Click here to sign up or learn more.
Second, You have an opportunity right now to put TEXIT on the ballot for the primary in March 2024. With our TEXIT Petition and with enough signatures, the TNM will force the TEXIT question on the primary ballots. Don’t forget to sign our petition and share it with all your friends and family like crazy. Sign by clicking here.
Third, connect with your local groups! There are outreach events happening all over Texas. If we’re gonna overcome the silence from mainstream media, or the political establishment, then we’ll have to do it in our towns and cities. If you want to see TEXIT happen, then you need to get plugged in and connect with your local groups. You can find a list of TNM events here.
Last but not least, remember to leave a review of this episode, or any episode, on Apple Podcasts. The more reviews, the faster we get this podcast up the charts and let everyone know that TEXIT supporters are a force to be reckoned with.
