Who Supports TEXIT?

Today, we dive into all things Texas politics and the future of Texas independence.

We begin by talking about another special session and how Greg Abbott left with basically nothing he wanted. We also talk about Texas’s capacity to eliminate the property tax and what we can do about it.

Then, we take a deep dive into who actually supports TEXIT. While yes, some high-profile politicians have expressed their support for a TEXIT vote, what truly matters, who truly matters, is the people. And it shouldn’t surprise anyone that a majority of Texans are on board for a vote.

Lastly, we take a look at the larger conversation of a National Divorce.

Texans are overpaying anywhere from $103 to 160 billion annually into the federal system.

If that money stayed in Texas, there would be more than enough to alleviate the tax burden, which is why we’re overdue for bringing a special session in for TEXIT.

A common refrain is that TEXIT doesn’t have high-profile influencers backing it. So who really has come out to support Texit?

The answer to that? It’s the people.

By the numbers, if TEXIT went to a vote tomorrow, it would win.

It’s the majority of the people who recognize that the states need to stand up against the federal government. And it’s the majority of people who recognize that the relationship between Texas and the federal government is broken.

All in all, high-profile people add smoke to the fire that the people have already started.

And now all we have to do is get a vote on TEXIT. Here are 3 ways you can help:

  1. Contact your legislators: Ask them the question if they support your right to be able to vote on Texas independence. If they do not represent you, they cannot be allowed to represent you
  2. Run for office: If we don’t have legislators that represent us, it’s time we step up to the stand
  3. Sign our Petition: You have an opportunity right now to put TEXIT on the ballot for the primary in March 2024. Sign by clicking here.

If you’ve already signed our petition, be sure to share it with your friends and family or anyone you think wants a better future for Texas.
