Senator Lois Kolkhorst Comes Out Strong For TEXIT Vote

There is one Texas State Senator who is leaving no doubts as to where she stands on a TEXIT vote.

On April 10, 2021, Republicans in Texas Senate District 18 had their quarterly meeting featuring a large panel that included several State Representatives as well as Senator Lois Kolkhorst. During the question-and-answer session, one voter asked a question that left many on the panel scrambling for cover: Do you support TEXIT?

As State Representative Jacey Jetton gave an emphatic “no,” the voter clarified his question to ask whether or not they supported letting Texans vote on independence. Jetton doubled down with an even more emphatic negative. This was followed by State Representative Geanie Morrison, who, after a few minutes of rambling, said that she was against putting the question to the people of Texas. Both responses left the crowd silent.

What came next rocked the room. State Senator Lois Kolkhorst left no doubt that she firmly believed that it was a serious issue that needed to be put to the people of Texas. Her answer received massive applause from the attendees.
