The Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) Name Use and Logo Policy is designed to protect the integrity and reputation of the TNM by ensuring that the use of its name and logos is consistent with the TNM’s mission, values, and legal obligations. The policy outlines the conditions under which the TNM’s name and logos may be used, the process for obtaining permission to use them, and the consequences of unauthorized use. By adhering to this policy, members and non-members can contribute to the TNM’s efforts to promote Texas independence in a manner that respects the TNM’s identity and brand.
Use of Name
The name “Texas Nationalist Movement” and the short form of the name “The TNM” belong to the Texas Nationalist Movement. The use of the above names and/or acronym or any variation thereof shall be used only with written permission from the Texas Nationalist Movement for any purpose including, but not limited to, the following:
- Advertising
- Print or digital materials
- Fundraising materials
- Sponsorship materials
- Social media sites
- Apparel items
Use of Logo
The logos of the Texas Nationalist Movement belong to the Texas Nationalist Movement. The use of TNM logos, or any version/revision, shall be used only with written permission from the Texas Nationalist Movement for any purpose including, but not limited to, the following:
- Advertising
- Print or digital materials
- Fundraising materials
- Sponsorship materials
- Social media sites
- Apparel items
Request Use of Name and/or Logo
To request the use of one of the above names and/or logos, send an email to the Texas Nationalist Movement at [email protected].
Member Use Without Permission
Members in good-standing of the Texas Nationalist Movement who use the name or logos of the Texas Nationalist Movement without permission for any of the above shall be subject to the following:
- Member shall be notified in the most expedient manner possible to cease unauthorized use and surrender any materials whereupon the name or logo are used to the TNM.
- If the member fails to remedy the situation, a formal letter shall be sent to the member notifying them of same.
- If the member fails to remedy the situation within 10 days of notice, the member will be subject to suspension of membership and the matter will be submitted to the TNM’s attorney for court action where the member will be responsible for all court fees and damages.
Non-Member Use Without Permission
Non-members and Associate Members of the Texas Nationalist Movement who use the name or logos of the Texas Nationalist Movement without permission for any of the above shall be subject to the following:
- The user shall be notified in the most expedient manner possible to cease unauthorized use and surrender any materials whereupon the name or logo are used to the TNM.
- If the user fails to remedy the situation, a formal letter shall be sent to the member notifying them of same if possible.
- If the user fails to remedy the situation within 10 days of notice, the matter will be submitted to the TNM’s attorney for court action where the user will be responsible for all court fees and damages.
