The sad truth about the government of the United States:
I am a major proponent of the separation of Texas from the United States, and the breakup of the current “evil empire” that has been responsible for untold suffering around the world, especially during the last 27 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union. However, I have what I believe is a more realistic view of how secession will go down. This is due in part to what I have seen first hand vis-a-vis US imperialist aggression around the world.
The US is not going to allow “peaceful” separation of Texas from the union. The only hope for this is some sort of economic collapse. Dominance and power are the hallmarks of Washington, and they will hold onto it as long as it is physically possible. Moreover, anyone who even suggests “separatism” is likely to be labeled a “terrorist”. Basically anyone who is not under the boot heel of the fascist oligarchy of the US government is a “terrorist” or at least an “enemy” regardless of whether or not they have actually attacked the US or its interests.
I don’t mean to seem like a defeatist, but I know the enemy well, and I have seen its handiwork abroad…
I am new to TNM, but I 100% agree with what you have said. I could not have said it better myself.
Regarding the Texas Independence Referendum Act, is there something I need to sign? I have signed petitions in support of the referendum before. Is this a new thing, requiring a fresh signature?
