Three Little Words That Change The World

  1. So basically we see the “united States” include a whole bunch of governments controlling geographic areas (the individual States {Georgia, Virginia, Oklahoma, California which also are countries}) with the Federal Government of the US which is the administration for the combined group of countries: the united States working together and it provides the military to defend the whole. Of course there are a number of nations within the united States, if you observe the languages spoken which includes English, American English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Italian, and a number of other languages. The US is a screwed up bunch of pieces of real estate with the Federal Government trying to make itself fit all of them one size fits all, which tends not to work quite as well in practice as it does on paper since they tend not to adhere so closely to the paper (the Constitution) as one would desire for them to do so.
As a result of the Federal Government trying to make themselves fit all of the group, it looks like the individual States might be better off just dealing with things themselves and working directly with the other adjacent states. Then again maybe not.
However, since the Federal Govt is set up over 1000 miles away from Texas and does not do anything at all that helps Texas, the Texian People and anything that we care about locally, it would be better that we govern ourselves locally and take care of our own local concerns. Our culture, economics, nor our political outlook is the same as that group running things in DC. They are interested in the interests of at least 49 other states and Territories while wanting to control the whole group as if it were some homogeneous lump. That has not been working, nor will it work. We would be better off separate running our own affairs and dealing with our immediate neighbors ourselves. It is time and past time to separate again and return ourselves to the independent status of our forebears who ran Texas the Republic. We are so much further ahead of the game than we were the 1st time having much more developed economic activity, resources, population, etc. It is time we had the opportunity to have a referendum on Texas Independence.
