On Sunday, March 2nd, from 2 PM to 5 PM, we’re firing up the grill at the Rockin J Ranch (500 John Price) in Blanco to honor our Texas heritage the way Texans do best – with good food, good company, and plenty of Lone Star spirit.
Join us as we remember the brave Texians who, faced with tyranny, chose liberty over submission. They knew, as we know today, that the right of self-government isn’t given – it’s taken by those with the courage to claim it.
Bring your favorite beverage, a chair, and your Texas spirit. Live music will keep the celebration going while we enjoy what our forefathers fought to give us – the freedom to gather as Texans on Texas soil.
Remember, this is a casual backyard BBQ where everyone is welcome. Whether your family has been here since the Republic or you just got here yesterday, if you love Texas, you’re family.
